The County of Santa Barbara has launched a revamped online legislative research center, making it even easier for citizens, press and elected officials to see the county's agendas, minutes and agenda item details. The new site, powered by Legistar InSite, also provides the indexing of meeting video with specific agenda items for instant access to video on an item of interest.

A software system implemented by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) one year ago has paid for itself many times over by reducing labor, processing and printing costs by approximately $225,000 annually. The software system, Legistar® from Chicago-based firm Daystar, creates agendas, tracks agenda items, records votes and meeting minutes, and automatically publishes this data to the internet.
